Our peony roots weigh up to ONE POUND each.

Most peony starts sold today are small 2–3 eye tubers, often weighing just a few ounces. Those under-sized roots typically take two or even three years before producing flowers.

Ain’t nobody got time for that!

Our over-sized, over-eyed roots are grown larger on purpose, giving them a spectacular chance of blooming their very first spring. Bigger roots mean stronger plants, faster establishment, and blooms sooner — not years later.
